P.S:O:A - F.A.Q.
Toilets / Showers / Supply
There will be sufficient free mobile and water toilets available. These are located on the campsite and in the festival infield area. The toilets will be cleaned several times a day during the festival to ensure maximum cleanliness for our guests. As last year, there will be two sanitary facilities with flush toilets and showers. These are also clearly visible and marked by flags on the camping areas. The flat-rate ticket for the use of the toilets and showers will also be available in 2025. You can purchase this ticket directly at the service points.
Water taps and hand washing facilities will of course be available on the camping site near the service points.
Between the festival entrance (gate entrance) and the backstage entrance there will be a beer garden in addition to the well-known breakfast tent, which will be open from Wednesday evening. The party tent will be open from Wednesday, 06.08.2025, 20:00 and offers our guests the obligatory welcome party as well as selected stands (food & drinks). From Thursday, 07.08.2025 to ###FESTIVALCAMPUNTIL###, the area will be opened and closed again according to the advertised opening times (current times will be announced in the handout, which we will hand out to each guest after arrival). The party tent will be used for the daily after-show party after Infields closes and will only close in the early hours of the morning (see handout for times).
Catering / Prices
Drinks and food will be available from Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm until Sunday morning at 11:00 am. We take great care to only accept suppliers whose products are of high quality. The supply partners are instructed to offer you food and drinks at a fair price. Water may be brought onto the infield in unopened Tetra-Paks or PET bottles with a maximum capacity of one liter (one bottle per person). Drinks for personal consumption are generally permitted on the campsite! Please remember that glass is prohibited on the entire festival site.
The Party.San Metal Open Air crew will again be responsible for serving drinks in the infield in 2025.
Children and juveniles
According to JuSchG § 5, children and young people (up to the age of 16) without a legal guardian are not admitted to concert and dance events. Young people (aged 16 and over) without a legal guardian are admitted to the above events until midnight.
However, there is the exception that you can nominate a legal guardian with the document to be downloaded >>> here <<< Fill out the document and have it signed by your parents. Carry the form with you at all times and show it to security staff on request.
The times during which you can stay on the festival site are then as follows: up to 16 years until midnight / from 16 years until your parent or guardian prohibits you from staying.
The serving of alcoholic beverages to children and young people is subject to JuSchG § 9.
Children and young people up to the age of 14 are admitted free of charge if accompanied by a parent or guardian. This means that those who are 14 years old must pay.
Authorized person:
Persons with personal custody are those persons who are entitled to personal custody either alone or jointly with another person in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code. As a rule, these are the parents.
Legal guardian:
A guardian is any person over the age of 18, insofar as they perform educational duties for the duration of the event on the basis of a written agreement with the person with custody.
Visitors with disabilities / wheelchair users
We are always striving to improve the service for our festival visitors with disabilities and to make the festival as pleasant and above all barrier-free as possible! For wheelchair users we have marked out an area in front of the stage where people with walking disabilities or wheelchair users can position themselves safely. There are 3 barrier-free toilets on the festival site. If you have any questions on site, you can contact the bar or security staff at any time. Please write to us at info@party-san.de if you have any questions about the regulations. Together we will find a solution. For the cool storage of special medication, please contact the German Red Cross on site.
Theft
Should you fall victim to theft, please contact our security directly, whose main office is marked on the site map. Please make sure that your valuables are safely stowed away! We rarely have cases of theft, but we would still like to make you aware of this issue. Please do not leave any valuables or car keys in your tents and make sure that your cars are locked when you leave the campsite. Don't be afraid to speak to our friendly security if you notice anything suspicious.
Objects brought along
Weapons, fireworks & articles made of glass are absolutely forbidden. Our security is required to randomly check all arriving persons and vehicles. Please spare us and yourselves unpleasant situations and leave such items at home. In the event of serious violations, you may be banned from the site.
GAS BOTTLES: Gas bottles are not prohibited at the Party.San Metal Open Air. In individual cases, however, the security staff may confiscate gas cylinders due to their excessive size. These will be returned to their owners at the end of the event.
Gas cylinders will be confiscated if:
- The gas cylinder has a filling quantity greater than 11 kg and is not permanently installed in a camper or motorhome. Maximum of one cylinder per vehicle! Gas cylinders that are not installed and not stationary may not exceed a maximum filling quantity of 5 kg.
- The gas cylinder does not have a current TÜV inspection (stamp or label on the gas cylinder).
- If no pressure regulator is installed or connection hoses are brought along without a valid TÜV (stamp and/or rint).
- If the gas system in use does not have a reliable ignition safety device.
- If there is no valid gas test for operation in the caravan / motorhome. (TÜV sticker).
Hygiene instructions / pathogens / volume Party.San Metal Open Air
The visitor is aware that there is a particular volume at the concert, especially in front of the stage, and that there is a risk of possible damage to health, especially hearing damage. The organizer will ensure that visitors are not harmed by the sound level of the performances by providing suitable technical equipment, limiting the volume and selecting individual venues. Irrespective of this, however, it is strongly recommended to use suitable hearing protection, especially when standing near the loudspeakers, and to choose a place in front of the stage that is conducive to individual hearing habits.
The regular hygiene recommendations such as daily personal hygiene and regular hand washing apply.
From an official point of view, we have no warnings regarding acute infectious diseases. Should there be any changes, we will inform you via our social networks.
Otherwise, please use your common sense and take care of your fellow human beings.
Arrival by car or train
The festival site is about 20 km away from the highway junctions A38 (exit 10) - Sondershausen coming from the east and A38 (exit 6) - Leinefelde coming from the west.
From the south / southwest A71 (exit 4) - Erfurt Gispersleben - B4 to Andisleben - L1042 to Bad Langensalza - B84 to the Schlotheim junction.
Traveling by train is no problem. Mühlhausen has a direct connection to Göttingen and Erfurt. The approx. 15 km route from Mühlhausen to Schlotheim / Obermehler is served by the Party.San shuttle bus and a public intercity bus every hour. The exact times of the Party.San shuttle bus will be announced on the website in good time. However, it is already foreseeable that it will stop daily at around 18:00 and / or will take the hotel sleepers to Mühlhausen once again at night.
Litter
As Party.San takes place on an airfield, even more attention must be paid to the tidiness and cleanliness of the areas during the stay and separately on departure.
We have undertaken to hand over the camping areas to the owner 2 days after the festival in a clean condition. It is therefore necessary to charge a fee for parking and waste disposal. This will be €15.00 for cars and €25.00 for caravans / coaches or vehicles with trailers. Garbage bags will be handed out free of charge. If you hand in a well-filled garbage bag, you will receive a Party.San Metal Open Air annual calendar at the garbage collection point as a small bonus. We hope for your understanding and would like to thank everyone who leaves their site clean.
Camping / Parking
The campsite is open from Wednesday, 06.08.2025, 10:00 am. The campsite is located directly next to the festival area and consists of mainly paved/drained & flat meadow.
The following is prohibited on both the campground and the infield:
- Building campfires.
- Digging holes, e.g. for storing drinks etc.
- Entering the airfield outside the areas provided.
- Wilfully damaging guidance equipment or other property of the airfield operator or the organizer.
- Climbing over and/or damaging fences/gates and all other safety installations.
- The installation of private power generators.
The entire site may be driven on at a maximum speed of 20 km/h.
The fee for parking will be €15.00 for cars and €25.00 for caravans / coaches or vehicles with trailers. Please have cash ready!
Price increases, as in previous years, can sometimes be attributed to the recurring damage caused by our guests. Should damage occur for which we are held liable, we will have to pass the costs on to the prices in future years. The Party.San Metal Open Air tries to offer the metal community a fair alternative, but we need your support and attention!
Your vehicle can be parked directly next to the tent. Without a valid ticket and the corresponding parking vignette, it is not permitted to enter or drive on the entire festival site, including all tent areas.
Parking is only permitted in the authorized areas and after instruction.
My Tent Is Already Pitched
If you don't have your own tent or don't feel like lugging it around and setting it up, mein-zelt-steht-schon is the right place for you. Here you not only hire tents and accessories, but also get them pitched. With the help of this external provider, you can simply arrive at the Party.San Metal Open Air, move in straight away and start partying!
Severe weather & storm
All measures taken in relation to thunderstorms and storms are for your safety! We will inform you in good time in the event of a thunderstorm. Secure your tents and pavilions accordingly from the outset. In the event of a storm or thunderstorm, you are safest in your vehicle. Please switch on your hazard lights if you still have space for people seeking shelter. Help each other and look out for each other. Please pay attention to and follow the announcements and instructions of security and staff! Especially in the event of bad weather or storms, we reserve the right to change the access and parking arrangements at our discretion. In the event that the infield needs to be evacuated, we urge you to follow the instructions of the staff and emergency services. Please also pay attention to the announcements over the PA and the police loudspeaker announcements. In the event of an evacuation, keep calm and get into your vehicles as quickly as possible. In the unlikely event of an evacuation, the entire site (including the campsite) must be evacuated. Please also follow the instructions of the staff and emergency services and listen to the announcements.
Bigger groups
All campers who would like to camp together in a group (30 people or more) have the opportunity to reserve a camping area again this year. Without exception, the reserved areas are subject to our special rules or Green Camping. You must therefore decide whether you can and want to follow these rules (see below in the text). It is possible to rent a mobile toilet, which will be positioned directly at your camp.
Fee: 180,-€ (incl. three cleanings) + 25,-€ deposit at the box office.
Since the spaces for the 2023 reservation were quickly booked out, it is possible that the available spaces will be taken before the deadline. We therefore ask for quick feedback.
Richtlinien zu reservierten Flächen "Green Camping"
In der GREEN CAMPING AREA bzw. in den reservierten Camping-Arealen gelten einige besondere Campingregeln, die alle Besucher einhalten sollten, die in diesem Bereich campen möchten.
Die Sauberkeit des Camping-Areals liegt uns sehr am Herzen, daher fordern wir die Nutzer der reservierten Flächen auf, unnötige Campingutensilien und Verpackungen gleich zuhause zu lassen und euren Zeltplatz während des Festivals weitestgehend sauber zu halten.
Zur Erleichterung der Abfallentsorgung werden in der Area an verschiedenen Punkten Sammelgefäße für Müll aufgestellt, die täglich, bei Bedarf auch mehrmals, entleert werden. Jeder Besucher erklärt sich bereit, die von ihm aufgestellten Zelte und Pavillons nach der Veranstaltung auch wieder mit nach Hause zu nehmen oder selbst in den vor Ort bereitgestellten Müllsammeltonnen zu entsorgen. Ihr stimmt außerdem zu, am Abreisetag euren Restmüll vollständig an der Müllannahmestation abzugeben oder in den bereitgestellten Abfallbehältern zu entsorgen.
Es dürfen Zelte und Pavillons aufgebaut werden, aber keine sonstigen Bauten. Campingstühle und -tische sind, im Gegensatz zu großen Möbel wie Sesseln, Sofas, Betten und Kühlschränke, natürlich zulässig.
Das Mitbringen und der Betrieb von Stromaggregaten ist wie auf allen anderen Flächen untersagt. In der Zeit von 02:00 Uhr - 08:00 Uhr bitten wir, die Nachtruhe der Campingnachbarn zu respektieren. Das heißt nicht, dass auf den reservierten Flächen keine Musik gehört werden darf, sondern dass diese auf Wunsch der Nachbarschaft auf ein erträgliches Maß reduziert werden muss.
Kommt es bei einzelnen Gruppen zu Verletzungen der Richtlinie, führt dies zum dauerhaften Ausschluss aus den Reservierungsmöglichkeiten.
Caravan or Motorhome-ticket (limitied to 50 pieces)
With the purchase of the Party.San Metal Open Air-WoMo-Ticket you receive the possibility to temporarily set up a caravan or mobile home at the Party.San Metal Open Air 2025 in the period from ###FESTIVALDROM### - 09.08.2025.
The area cannot be extended and is marked by the organizer. Instructions will be given by the parking lot attendants upon arrival. These provided areas have a power connection (230V Schuko / max. 30m away from the pitch - it is not possible to rent power cables), a water withdrawal point for filling internal water tanks and a waste water emptying point at a central supply and disposal point. No waste water may be disposed of illegally. A caravan is a vehicle or caravan with a permanently installed power connection or a total weight of more than 2.8 tons with an awning or a small tent (max. 2 persons). The operation of gas systems is only permitted with a current gas test in accordance with the generally applicable guidelines.
Please note that the motorhome site may only be used by motorhomes or caravans. It is not possible to camp freely on the motorhome area! The use of the WoMo area is subject to the Green Camping guidelines (see above).
The purchase of the WoMo ticket exempts you from purchasing a parking sticker at the box office.
Attention: Sticker vignettes will be issued on site at the festival!
