OUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON US is a doom/sludge/psych band based out of Salzburg, Austria. The band’s third album, Scouts on the Borderline between the Physical and Spiritual World, aims for a more expansive sound than simple doom/sludge, incorporating diverse influences including post-rock, ambient and post-metal. To give an example of how diverse the album is, it features guest appearances from both Helmuth (Belphegor) and Steindor Andersen, who has worked with Sigur Ros. What a band!
