BYFROST was founded by HeavyHarms and R.I.Pmeister on a cold and windy Bergen night in 2007. Eager to release cold and dark but melodic riffs they hired a drummer and bassplayer which formed the first version of BYFROST. The first album “Black Earth”” was the result of HeavyHarms and R.I.Pmeisters' excellent songwriting, and recieved great reviews from magazines and webzines from all over the world.
